VIRTUAL SPECIAL CALLED SCHOOL BOARD MEETING – July 14, 2020
NOTE: VIRTUAL SPECIAL CALLED SCHOOL BOARD MEETING – July 14, 2020, immediately following the 9:30 a.m. School Board workshop
As a result of the public health emergency that exists due to the COVID-19 VIRUS, and upon the authority granted by Executive Orders issued by Governor Ron DeSantis, including Executive Order 20-150, the School Board of Pinellas County, Florida, hereby gives notice that it will conduct a virtual public meeting using telephonic technology on July 14, 2020, immediately following the School Board Workshop.
The public can attend this virtual meeting by listening to the meeting live by calling one of the following phone numbers: 1-929-205-6099 or 1-888-788-0099 (toll-free) and entering meeting ID Number 830 3727 1413 and Password 665126, or visiting www.pcsb.org/boardvideo. For those without internet or phone access, you may come to the following access point where a telephone speaker will be housed allowing anyone to listen to the meeting: 301 Fourth Street Southwest, Largo, Florida.
The public may submit comments to the School Board by: (1) sending them in writing to the following email address: publiccomment@pcsb.org, or (2) calling 727-588-6122 and orally providing the comments, which will be transcribed. All comments submitted prior to the start of the meeting will be sent to all School Board Members and the Superintendent prior to the meeting. For all comments submitted after the start of the meeting, but prior to the consideration of the relevant portion of the agenda, district staff will strive to immediately send them to the School Board Members and the Superintendent. All public comments timely received will be appended to the meeting minutes.

Tomorrow we honor our Largo High School graduating class of 2020. Graduation is more than just one day or one ceremony — it’s about honoring your years of hard work and dedication. We are living in unprecedented and unpredictable times due to the pandemic. Although it’s impossible to say what will happen in the next few months, tomorrow we celebrate you. It may not be exactly how we envisioned this moment but with a sense of collective resilience, we honor you and celebrate your accomplishments. We look forward to seeing the amazing things your future will bring.
Important information:
If attending the ceremony, please remember to bring your cap, gown, and an umbrella. Flat shoes are recommended.
